Misty Peak Rosé comes from California's sun-drenched vineyards, where warm days ripen the grapes slowly and cool nights keep the wine bright and crisp. The misty mountain peaks in the distance overlook the vineyards that produce it.
Zinfandel Blush is a genuinely American style. In 1975 Sutter Home had a Zinfandel fermentation stick before it finished, leaving a pink, faintly sweet wine they bottled anyway; it became White Zinfandel and went on to sell in enormous quantity, and for a time it was the most popular wine in the United States. It also, incidentally, saved California's old Zinfandel vines, which were being pulled up until the demand arrived.
The style is unpretentious and makes no claim otherwise: off-dry, low in alcohol, and best served properly cold.
