Les Hauts de Perganson

Les Hauts de Perganson is the second wine of Château Larose Perganson, in Saint Laurent Médoc, on the border of Pauillac and Saint Julien beside the vineyards of Château Latour. The property dates back to 1719. Once fine enough to have merited classed growth status, the estate fell into neglect before being revived from 1986 by the owners of Château Larose Trintaudon. A leader in sustainability, it became the first European vineyard rated exemplary for sustainable development in 2010. This second wine is a classic Haut-Médoc blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, ripe and approachable, offering a taste of the estate's quality at a friendly price. Ripe, balanced and ready to enjoy, Les Hauts de Perganson is approachable Bordeaux done well. It combines cassis fruit with velvety tannins. A fine partner for roast lamb and beef.
