Laroche La Chevalière

La Chevalière is the southern French range of the famed Chablis house Laroche. Michel Laroche bought the Mas la Chevalière vineyards near Béziers in 1995, after a ten year search for a Languedoc site suited to Chardonnay. Laroche transformed the vineyards and built an innovative, energy conscious winery on site. Winemaker Géraud Blanc leads the team, crafting wines that balance the richness and ripeness of the Languedoc with a welcome freshness. The range offers pure, well made varietal wines from the Pays d'Oc, from a fresh Chardonnay and perfumed Viognier to a delicate rosé and a supple Pinot Noir. Fresh, balanced and superb value, the La Chevalière wines bring Laroche's precision to the south of France. They are pure, fruit driven and easy to love. Everyday drinking done well.
