La Voûte comes from Touraine Chenonceaux, a Loire appellation created in 2011 after two decades in the making. It takes its name and label from the majestic Château de Chenonceau nearby.
The wine is drawn from selected parcels of vines across Touraine. The Sauvignon Blanc is held back until the May after harvest, spending around seven months on its lees to build weight, texture and complexity.
The result is a Loire Sauvignon Blanc with more depth than most, combining the grape's fresh, mineral character with a fleshy, textured palate and a clean, persistent finish.
Elegant, fresh and finely balanced, La Voûte shows the quality of this young appellation. It is a Loire white of real charm and value. Lovely with goat's cheese, seafood and lighter dishes.
