Diane and Benjamin began bottling their own wine in 2015, from vineyards that had been in the family for generations. Their ten hectares lie on south-facing slopes in the Combe de Savoie, in the foothills of the Massif des Bauges.
The site is glacial moraine laid down some 15,000 years ago, when the whole valley was one great glacier. The estate is farmed sustainably and HVE certified, with an emphasis on tradition and on letting Savoie speak clearly. Savoie is one of the smallest and least exported of French wine regions, and its native grapes, Jacquere and Altesse, grow almost nowhere else.
