Domaine de Coyeux occupies a spectacular single block of 130 hectares in the hills of Beaumes-de-Venise. The estate was established in 1950 and has been in the hands of Arnaud and Isabelle Strasser since 2020.The vines sit between 260 and 300 metres, on ancient soils from one of the very rare Trias outcrops of the Comtadine. The estate is HVE certified and converting to organic certification, and winemaker Clement Bernardi combines traditional vinification with contemporary methods.
Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise is one of France's great fortified sweet wines, and the solera bottling here carries the depth that only a fractional blending system can give.
