Château du Domaine de l'Église

Château du Domaine de l'Église is one of the oldest estates in Pomerol, its vines lying on the plateau beside the village church that gives it its name. It has been owned by the Casteja family, of the respected Borie-Manoux house, since 1973.Almost entirely Merlot, grown on the clay-gravel that makes this small appellation so revered, it is plush, concentrated and unmistakably Pomerol.
