Château Doisy-Védrines is a Second Growth of the 1855 Sauternes classification, in Barsac, farmed by the Casteja family. Barsac is the cooler, more delicate enclave within Sauternes, and Doisy-Védrines is one of its finest names. Petit Védrines is the second wine: classic botrytised sweet Bordeaux of honeyed richness and freshness, offering a taste of a classed-growth pedigree at a very approachable price.
